Thanksgiving Point

On August 8th? Thanksgiving Point ran a promotion where you paid only $2.00 to get into any attraction for the day so we decided to take advantage of the good deal with Lara and Ella, Lori and her kids and Esther and her kids - but there was only one problem - so did everyone else in Utah County. When we go there the line for the Dinosaur musuem was wrapped around the side and down to the back - so we decided to hit the Farm first.

They had a few babies this time - a miniature horse, some tiny little bunnies and a baby pygmy goat - they were SO cute!! We all decided on the wagon ride since the line for the onies was huge as well. After we had seen all the farm had to offer we went and sat under a tree with our lunches and ate together, then we decided that we would go and see if the line at the Dinosaur museum was any smaller - NOPE it was still humongous. I explained to the boys that we would be standing in line for hours, but they still really wanted to go - they were pretty upset when we went to the emporium instead and got some fudge.

All in all, it was still a good day, and a great deal.
Spence carrying his little buddy Ella - she did not want to ride in the stroller, she wanted Spencer to carry her the whole time, and so he did - he is such a good kid.

That was such a fun day - and I AM looking forward to my wonderful gift of a mini horse. Thanks for getting the word out. We'll have to try the dinosaur museum on another day.
