Camping...Again!!

The weekend of August 7 & 8th we went camping with the Verwer's, to their family reunion at Sheep Creek (up Spanish Fork Canyon). The kids loved playing together and getting to know new friends. Keven's uncle Dick used to be married to my sister Tara, so it was kind of interesting to catch up with him - REAL interesting.

While we were there we learned a new card game - Cowboy - its a gamblin' card game that you gamble a dollar each deal, so you don't loose out too much. I played a few rounds and won and then the boys each took a turn - Gavin was addicted, but didn't win anything - Spence won on his first try. Since we've been home, we've been playing a LOT of Cowboy, but with Starbursts instead of money.

They also played a guessing game of how many gummy bears were in a huge bag - Dave and two others guessed 1000 and won, so the bag was split in thirds - we were eating gummy bears all weekend.
