Today we headed up the coast and saw a few things we missed on our first trip four years ago.
First we stopped at the Lighthouse at Cape Meares. The views from here were breathtaking!!!
Then we stopped at the Tillamook Creamery and Cheese Plant. Here we partook of some Tillamook Ice Cream and Cheese Samples - and went on a self-guided tour of the cheese plant. Dave said it was the worst tour he had ever been on - maybe that's because he hates cheese??
Next we found Haystack Rock. This is where the last scene of Goonies (One of Dave's favorite movies) was filmed. We had the boys watch Goonies on the way up the coast today so they could see where we were going.
When we got down to the beach Gavin found part of a Sand Dollar. We were so excited - we've never found a sand dollar at the beach in all of our trips - until we started finding completely whole sand dollars ALL over. We were stoked. I think we kept about a dozen.
Another truly amazing day.

Up to this point, I have never even thought about Dave not liking cheese when you went to the Tillamook factory! How funny!!! Thanks for the sand dollar. That is pretty cool you found so many good ones.
