Seven Peaks = Pain

We have LOVED our Seven Peaks passes this summer. I've always said I wouldn't buy them, but they were such a killer deal, we couldn't pass them up this year - and we've gone once or twice a week.

Today we learned that if you hang on the bars in the Wave Pool while the waves are on, you might just get hurt. I was looking at the boys doing it and something told me that I should tell them not to, but I figured the Lifeguards didn't care, so it must be okay. Two minutes later Cooper was at my feet crying. When I bent down to ask what was wrong, I could see that his chin was split open. We ran over to the first aid station where they documented the accident and told us he would need stitches. We gathered all our belongings and the rest of the kids (we had borrowed two neighbors) and headed to the Dr's where Cooper got stitches. When we got home, we packed up the bikes and went to the skate park instead - where we had no injuries.
