Oak City Days

Our Aunt Lara is from Oak City - and they have a killer City Celebration. The boys got to ride the barrell train, play games and catch a fish.

They also have a WONDERFUL dutch oven dinner - for only $5. Again this year, the boys did not wait so they all went to McDonalds in Delta while I waited for the good stuff.

Cooper threw the fit of all fits while we were here. I took him over to a tree and told him he was in time out - he started hitting the tree and ripping dirt and grass out of the ground - you should have seen the looks we got!! He finally calmed down and we continued with the festivities.

Spence did not want to catch fish this year, but all the other boys did. Preston was so excited until the fish ran by his feet - he was freaked and would not step foot in the pool again. I even caught a fish for him and he just screamed!!

Gavin and Cooper each caught a few fish, but we did not keep them becuase last time we did not eat them and they went to waste. They had fun catching and releasing though.
