We had to leave our beach house this morning and start our trip back home.
We stopped in the Redwood Forest and did a little hiking and a little more messing around.
There was a banana slug on the cover of the Forest pamphlet and I wondered if we would even see one. We got out of the car and the boys immediately found this banana slug.
Every new tree we found, we had to take a few pictures.
This is called a fairy ring.
We found some Utah monkeys in the trees.
We got into Reno tonight before the Wharton's - they decided to take a slight detour on accident.
Tomorrow we will finish our last leg home.
What a wonderful trip we had - and what great memories we've made together as a family.
