So I thought we were past the whole RSV season, but I was WRONG!!
On Friday March 27th I took Preston to the Dr. becuase he had caught a cold and I could tell it was in his lungs. The Dr. told me to start him on breathing treatments and make sure his nose was kept suctioned - we did this all weekend and Monday he seemed to be doing really well when I took him back to the Dr. for a follow-up. Well Tuesday March 31st he woke up with lots of green mucus in his nose (gross, I know) and I couldn't keep it suctioned out - I set him in his bouncy chair for a snooze and when I checked on him he was pale so I rushed him over to the Dr.'s office where his saturation level was 81 (which is not good at all) - the Dr. called an ambulance and Preston was transported to Primary Children's Hospital where he was diagnosed with RSV.
We were there from Tuesday afternoon until Sunday afternoon - it was very difficult for our family to be apart, but we made it. Saturday morning Dave brought the boys up to see us and then stayed in a Hotel nearby so we could be together all weekend.
Our families, friends and neighbors took such good care of us and made sure everything was taken care of - bringing dinners in, picking the kids up after school, taking care of the boys, many, many phone calls, etc. We appreciate all of you and love you SO MUCH!!!

Poor lil guy!! I'm so sorry you and your family had such a hard week last week. Those picture of poor little Preston make me so sad. I'm glad you guys are home and he is doing better.
I"m sorry too! I know you must be thrilled to be home but not too thrilled to be cooped up inside! I hope he doesn't get sick like that again!!
We love Preston so much and are so glad you guys are home. Those pictures make me so sad. That is a lot for your family to go through. Things will just keep getting better from here on out. Don't worry.
I am so sorry to hear how sick your little baby was. When Tristan was little, the doctor was always threatening to put him in the hospital with RSV. Luckily, we were somehow able to avoid it!
I am glad he is doing better and is finally back home. He is so cute and seems to be getting so big. Hopefully he will be able to remain healthy, and the rest of your family too!
So glad Preston is feeling better and is home! Just another big reason for all of us to THINK SPRING! :)
That is so awful! I am so sorry! I am glad that he is doing better! I hope RSV season is now truly gone.
