A while ago I found my old boss Morgan Roberts on Facebook and found out that he and his wife Robyn were living in Chicago, where he works. He invited Dave and I out to Chicago to stay in their apt while they were back in Utah, so I talked to Dave and he said "Heck No - I'm not going to Chicago!" I was telling my friend Amy Hansen about it and she told me she would love to go to Chicago. Well a couple of weeks ago Amy called me and said she found flights to Chicago for $100 round trip - so we planned it!!
We (Amy, Amy's Sister Sara, Hilary Fitzsimmons and myself) flew out to Chicago on Saturday and came home tonight - we had such an amazing time. We were able to rent an apt in the same building where Robyn and Morgan live so we got to see them a lot.
It was good to get away...but I'm so glad to be home with my boys.
