BMX Race for the Littles....

We took Cooper and Preston up to South Jordan today to race their BMX bikes. The big boys came but didn't get to race - cause they got bad grades and got grounded.  :(

 

 We bought Preston a new little bike when we were in California so he was excited to be able to race in an actual class this time instead of with the toddlers. 

 

When we got there we realized that Cooper had not brought his riding gear, so we had to make a little detour to Walmart to buy him some sweatpants - cause they don't let ya race in shorts.

 

Preston practiced and wrecked on the first little hill and then wrecked again in his first heat race - he was going a little too fast off of the gate.  When he wrecked in the heat race - he got back on the bike and finished his race - and the crowd cheered him on!!  After that he slowed down and didn't wreck the next/last race.

 

Cooper did really well and came in third - of three boys - and both boys came home with trophies.
