Time for a little R&R.
I was planning my Girls Weekend and ran into complications so Amy invited me to come down with her and her Sisters. When I told Jenny my plans - she wanted to come too!! So Jenny and I found a nice hotel room as to not intrude on Amy and her sisters.
When Jenny and I got to our room I couldn't find my phone. So I had Jenny call it - still couldn't find it. I went and looked in the car to no avail either. My last stop was at the front desk where the clerk handed me my phone right away with a scowl on his face. It was at this point that I realized my ring tone for Jenny (and she had called to try and find my phone) said a naughty word. I ran up and told Jenny and we had a good laugh.
That night we went and had a nice dinner and went into Zions with Amy and her sisters. We walked to the Emerald Pools - at dusk. By the time we got to the pools it was dark. It was kind of cool hiking Zions in the dark though.
The next morning I met Amy and her sisters (Jenny wasn't feeling too good, poor girl)
and we went back into Zions to hike Angels Landing - my favorite. Amy and her sisters kicked my butt so I didn't see them much of the time. But I loved being surrounded by the beautiful rock and nature - even by myself.
When we were done I went back to the hotel and showered and then Jenny and I went and found something to eat. Then we drove out to Snow Canyon - which I didn't even know existed. It was gorgeous. Then we hit the temple so Jenny could have a little photo session.
Such an awesome day.
Sunday we woke up and had breakfast and headed home. Even though it was nice to be away for a weekend, it was even nicer to be home with my family.
