Dave took Gavin to school this morning around 7:20. I said goodbye to them from the window and went about my work. About 20 minutes later I looked out the window to see this disturbing sight: Someone had veered off the road and up our lawn. I'm not sure how I missed it - I was sitting in the dining room and the blinds were open - guess the Christmas tree was in the way??
I went out to take some pictures and a gentleman in a BIG Dodge Doully pulled up. He told me he was the one - he was taking his neice to school and came around our corner too fast. He decided to hurry and take her to school and then come back. Luckily no damage was done, except to the poor garbage can, which will be replaced for free.
