I was bored today and asked Dave what we should go do today and he said "Ice Blocking?". We decided we would go - to celebrate my being released from RS President today. I did mention to him though, that someone might get hurt since we were going ice blocking on the Sabbath - he didn't seem too worried though, so we rounded up a few friends and were off to Maverick for Ice Blocks.
After paying for our Ice Blocks - the cashier told me that Ice Blocking is illegal in Utah - really?? - so I searched Google on Dave's phone on the way over to our desired Ice Blocing destination - and found NOTHING saying it is Illegal in Utah - not that it would have made a difference anyway.
After a few slides down the hill, Spence was injured by a block of ice smashing his foot and tearing his toenail off - OUCH!! Sorry Spence that you were injured for our breaking the Sabbath Day.
Dave saw Spence's injury and went nuts - this was BAD - I personally thought the child has lost his whole toe!!! Good thing Curty was there to assess the situation and calm everyone down - especially Dave. Note to Dave per Curty: Don't freak the kid out!!!
After a little attention to the injured we were back at it.
