Not again!!

I took Spence into the Dermatologist last week to have a mole on his foot removed - after my scare I wasn't taking any more risks. I had asked a Dr a couple of years ago to take it off, but he said it was fine and sent me on my way. Anyhow, I took Spence in and the Dermatologist swiped it and said he was pretty concerned by the way it looked, which was not very reassuring.

We went home and this last week was a pretty long one, waiting for the biopsy results. I called today for the results but the Dr was not in the Spanish Fork office where the results where, so I was told I would have to wait. Being my impatient self I called the Payson office where he was working and asked if he could call over to Spanish and get the results and call me back. A few minutes later, the Dr called me back saying that Spence also had pre-melanoma on his foot - his was moderate. I started to cry - Again, so GRATEFUL to my Heavenly Father for saving us the mess of melanoma. I grabbed Spence out of school, went right over to the Dr's office and they took the rest of it off his foot.

We will ALL be wearing lots of sunblock this summer - and rashguards. :)
