Girls Hike in Zions

The guys had such a great time last month at Zions, us Girls decided we wanted to get away too.

We drove down Friday afternoon. On our way down I pulled my visor down, because the sun was in my eyes, and an envelope fell in my lap - Smooch had given me $100 to spend - he loves me - all the girls were slightly jealous.

We arrived in St. George around dinner time and had dinner at a really good Thai restruant, and then headed to the outlets - I spent every last dollar I had, and loved every minute of it.

We stayed the night at one of the girl's sister's condo in St. George and stayed up until 1:00 in the morning, talking and laughing.

We woke up Saturday morning, packed up and headed out. We stopped at Walmart for some breakfast and treats and then made our way to Zions. Once we got into Zions - we didn't make the right turn and missed the parking for the shuttle bus - so we kept driving and went up to the tunnel. I was FREAKED - I hate driving when there is a drop off to the side - I faced my fears and did it anyway and it was worth it - so beautiful.

We found the shuttle and headed for Angel's Landing.

Here is the path we took.

Look how STEEP!!

At this Point Jenny and I were a little concerned about the height and stuck to the wall.

The switchbacks.

We stopped here and had our lunch. At this point I was eating my yogurt and had a vivid vision of myself falling off of Angel's Landing and decided I wouldn't go any farther. Jenny being the friend she is, decided she would stay with me.

The other Girls heading up Angel's Landing - notice the chains in the rocks.

The Girls coming back down - mixed reports, some said it was ultimately freaky and others said it wasn't scary at all.

One of these girl's isn't like the others.

We saw some of these....

And some of these.

We had such an AMAZING trip and can't wait to go back in the Spring!!!
