This is what we woke up to this morning:
I was really torn on wether or not to make the boys go to school today. I read on the news that the buses were down and one of my favorite memories of my Dad was on a day like this. The buses were down and one of the neighbors stopped by as we were shoveling snow and asked if my Dad wanted him to take us to school. My Dad told him, "No Thanks -we're having a snow day!!"
On the other hand, it was the last day before Christmas break and the boys were going to be having their Christmas parties today - and I was in charge of Spencer's Class Christmas party. It's also Gavin's Birthday and he wanted to take treats to his friends.
Just a little while later Esther called and told me that all the schools in the district has be closed for the day, which has never happened before - HURRAY!!!

That was some crazy snow. Yay for snow days though. I remember always wishing for one and would be so excited if we actually got it!
My kids would love to have some snow like that! Tristan and Savannah especially want to live where it snows like that again!
