This Is The Place

I had to take a friend to the airport and decided while we were in Salt Lake that we should go to This Is The Place - so we packed a lunch, picked Dave up and we were off.

The boys absolutely LOVED it - their favorite was panning for gold and then taking the gold to the bank, cashing it in for a dollar and then taking the dollar over to ZCMI Mercantile to buy something.

Afterwards we went to dinner at Gloria's Little Italy (I had a gift certificate) - our first time going out to dinner at a real restraunt. Gavin was all ready to go and get his own drink when I explained to him that we have a waitress that will do that for us - it was pretty funny - and the boys behaved pretty well for their first time.
