Preston staying out of the sun and wind - he is ALWAYS so happy.
Gavin waiting in the bleachers for his first race. He is on the top in the middle.When I was young I hated going to Track Meets - I always came in last and would even start bawling as I walked off the track because I came in dead last, and was so embarrassed. So, when Gavin told me his was coming up I shuddered - but he was SO excited.
Yesterday morning I drove over to the Track to meet him and almost started crying because my little boy is getting so big!!! He did such a good job and tried his best - it was so much fun to watch him race - I am so proud of him.

It's so hard to have babies grow up. I love that pic of Preston, he is such a good baby. I'm glad Gavin had a good time at his track meet.

So...Hershey Track Meets make you cry no matter what? I am glad that Gavin enjoyed it anyways! Good job buddy! Love the picture of Preston too. He is too cute!
Looks like it was a nice day for a track meet. I've been when it was freezing cold and also when it was very hot-- so it's nice the weather cooperated! It's bittersweet to see the kids grow up, I know how you feel! :)
I hated it too! I was never a runner, I couldn't breath, wish I had known I had exercise indused asthma back then, then maybe I would have enjoyed it! I would come in last too! OH well!!

Russ was Dying to go to the supercross, but being in another counry made it difficult!
so fun he's in a race!
