First Camping Trip of the Season

The Trailer that made it all possible.

Spence rock climing.

Spence all geared up.

Preston rock climbing.

Preston all bundled up - it was a bit cold.

Our sink was the perfect size for Preston to take a bath in.

Me and my boys.

Little Miss Ella who wouldn't smile at the camera.

Gavin and Cooper rolling the tire down the hill.

Smooch and the Little One

Cooper playing in the sand with his friend Hadley.

Best Buds

We went down to Cherry Creek with some friends this past weekend for our first camping trip of the season - and we had a BLAST!! Gus, Lara and Ella stayed with us in our new trailer and we all had so much fun. The boys rode their dirt bikes and Coop rode his four-wheeler, they played and played and played in the sand, they rode a snowboard pulled by a four-wheeler in the sand, had Oreo smore's and roasted Starbursts - Spencer fell out of his bed and Justin had to get up, put him back in, and when I asked Spence the next morning about it - he had no idea he had fallen out - Gus and Lara said he hit his head pretty hard too so he was DEEP asleep.

The new trailer was so much easier to load and unload - we came back very pleased with our purchase.

Preston was the perfect camping baby - got up just once a night and was happy the whole time.

Preston is a chunk! :) Is that the new toy hauler?

It did take awhile to go through the temple, but it didn't take three hours. We went on a Saturday, and on the very last day of the open house. It took 2 hours from the time we parked to when we got back to our van. If you went during the week, it wouldn't have been as crowded or taken as long. It was a good experience, and I think it helped the kids get a little better idea of what the temple is. And they were so excited. Now, they're SO excited to go do baptisms when they're 12. It was definitely worth the time. We went to dinner as a family afterward. It was a fun Saturday.
