Hometown Parade

Saturday we went to our little Hometown Parade and it was AWESOME!! I took the boys to the July 24th parade in Spanish Fork and it was just okay, but our parade ROCKS!! We brought so much candy home, four soda pops, otter pops, a refill cup, a shirt, flowers and lots of COUPONS!! We went with my little sister and her kids - we had her oldest two sleep over the night before - and they were impressed as well.

While we were at the parade the cutest little kitty came over to hang out with us - Cooper loved it for the rest of the parade, Dave and I had to take over gathering candy for him because all he cared about was that kitty. When we left, we found its owners and to my surpise he didn't really care.

Loved your post...the parade WAS awesome, but where were the marching BANDS?? My kids had a haul of candy too, almost Halloween all over again. Sorry to have missed you at the parade! We were at the end of the route; by the time Olsen's got down to us, they were handing out flats of flowers left and right - we got 3 or 4. Problem is, I have no desire to plant anything in this God forsaken heat!! :) Have a great day!!

You have a great family! I miss Santaquin days sometimes! Did you know Mandy was a past little miss Queen?
