Today was the boys first day of school - Gavin is in third grade and Spencer in first grade. This day is always very hard for me. I love having my boys around - even though at times they have WAY too much energy - and so I hate when school starts, I would much rather have them home with me every day - I'm not sure that they would rather that though.
To make the day go by faster, we went and saw Grandma Julie at work, where Coop got a treat and we talked with our good friend Montrea. Then we went and got Dave at work and took him to lunch at Subway, in Walmart. While we were there we did a little shopping (so convenient) and took Dave back to work. Cooper really wanted to go to the skate park so I had packed both his scooter and his bike in the van, and we played there for about 45 minutes - it was SO HOT!!! We hung around the house for an hour or two and then finally, we were able to go and get the boys from school.
Spencer really enjoyed his first day of full school and was so excited that he go to go to recess three times today!!! Gavin was a bit irritated that his lunch recess was cut short for some reason and it seemed to ruin his first day - he does get to sit by one of his best buds Luke though.
I am so glad they are home - I missed them so much today!!!

Loved the pictures! I can't believe our kids are getting so old!! When does Cooper start?? Looks like our POS truck has had it's last run with the camper...I think Cherry Creek is a no-go (at least for camping - no way I'm tentin' it!). I will call you later. Have a great day!

It's fun to read about your kids first day of school! Ashlyn's was last Monday, but Jaden's been going awhile now. I feel the same way--it's hard to see them off to school; I love having them home with me too!

OOOHHHHH, I want to go camping too! That sounds so much more fun. It was fun just chatting with everyone at the ward party.
HEY! 4 boys... that is what I always wanted... carry on the Deschamp legacy! Dylan goes to preschool next week and I am pretty sad about it... I feel the same way- I enjoy having my kids around!
